Academic Centers Math Academic Center will meet in individual Math Rooms English A. C. in Machetta's (Rm 203) Science A. C. in Vroman’s (Rm 213) classroom Every teacher in each of these departments are available for help throughout the semester. Students not ASSIGNED to A. C. but wanting to get help on a particular day, must first go to assigned SST classroom and then get permission from SST teacher who will sign student agenda book to release them to specific A. C.

JJCFor seniors interested in attending JJC next school year, the placement test will be Feb. 11th in the Media Center – the guidance counselors have handed out review books to students who need to take the test. If you didn’t get a review book, please see your guidance counselor today. Also, JJC scholarships just became available – there is an online application. Please make an appointment with your guidance counselor to get help setting up the scholarship account.

Spanish ClubSign up to go to Medieval Times on March 6th. You need to be signed up by Feb. 11th. Only students who sold candy are eligible. The bus leaves SHS at 11:30 and we'll return by 5. See your Spanish teacher if you have questions.
NavyThe Navy will be in the commons during all lunches on Tuesday, Feb. 9th.
Congratulations WYSE TeamThe Seneca High School WYSE team scored 1st place to win regionals in the 700 division. With 22 members competing, Seneca beat out Deer Creek-Mackinaw, and St Bede. Individually, Paige Hepner finished 3rd place in Biology. Colleen Kinsella finished 3rd in Chemistry and 2nd in Math. Sean Baker took first place in chemistry, while Lyle Marshall took 3rd place in Physics, and 1st place in Math. Carina Colett finished 1st place in English, and Kole Gallick finished 1st place in Physics. Seneca WYSE team also swept the Engineering Graphics category with Dan Armstrong in 3rd, Zach Rivett in 2nd, and Cole Westmoreland in 1st place. Regionals will be March 10th at Parkland College where the team will be competing to advance to state finals at U of I.
TSA MembersAll TSA members going to the State Conference need to pick up a teacher signature/ assignment sheet from Mr. Erickson today or tomorrow.
JJC Placement TestThe JJC COMPASS Placement Test is this Thursday, February 11th, in the Media Center. Review guides were handed out a month ago with the test date on the booklet – so please review the material before testing. All students should check their e-mail to see when their testing time is. The testing times will also be posted on the bulletin board outside the main office.
ALL FreshmanAll freshman will be registering for next year’s classes Tuesday (2/9) and Wednesday (2/10).
