Congratulations:FCCLA had another great run at State Convention this year. Melissa Smrz brought home Gold in Fondant Cake decorating for the third year in a row, Erin Tezak received Silver in a Children Literature Presentation and Rebecca Schroeder dominated her first year by bringing home a Gold in her Children Literature Presentation. Congrats girls, we are so proud of you!
From the Guidance Office:April 22nd, is the start of the JJC New Student Orientation.All senior students who will be attending JJC will need to stop in the guidance office to make an appointment with their counselor to start this process.
There are several scholarship deadlines throughout April. Please see the guidance office for any questions and check the scholarship board outside the guidance office for additional information.
Attention to male students who have turned 18! You must sign up for the selective service, see the guidance office for details.
Sheet Metal Workers Local #1 Joint Apprenticeship Committee will have applications available. For all information on requirements and dates please see the guidance office.

VOTING:LaSalle and Grundy County will be here 4/29/14 during lunch hour for all students 18 years old to register to vote. Please make sure you have 2 forms of ID. You may use your Seneca High School student I.D. card and your driver’s license.

APRIL IS NATIONAL POETRY MONTH
To celebrate National Poetry Month, the SHS Media Center is inviting students, faculty, and staff to stop by and fill out a leaf to add to our "Poet-Tree". The "tree" will hold favorite poetry titles and/or names of favorite poets.
All April submissions to our "Poet-Tree" will earn an edible reward!
